ECO FRIENDLY LEAF CONFETTI, LEAFETTI!

Let’s face it, even when you think you are trying to be a savvy, money conscious bride the cost of a wedding still somehow escalates dramatically. Whether it’s the priest who insists that he will not take payment for the use of his time and the Church but still expects a ‘donation’ in a brown envelope to be delivered to the back door the day after the ceremony to feeling obliged to tip everyone from the venue staff to the florist.

Don’t panic though, I’m here to help! This is a cheap, easy and eco-friendly way of providing your guests with confetti that Churches and venues will allow because it is 100% biodegradable.

How to:

1. Purchase a heart shaped stamp cutter

2. Collect fallen leaves

3. Dry them out if they’re not already

4. Stamp away!

I hear you; I hear you. Who the FOOSH has time to make the billion heart shapes it will take to make one handful of confetti?! Well, you probably don’t but there might be little humans in your lives that you could delegate the task to. It will be sure to keep them entertained for a total of 5 whole minutes. Like us, who stamped out vintage score sheets from charity shops but got bored and ended up topping up our pathetic effort with rice.

There we go, that’s at least a few quid saved, you can sleep easy now, right?!
